As we get ready to enter the holiday season and enter a new year, I wanted thank you for being a part of the AITP Dallas Chapter. I am very excited as we prepare to start the New Year. We have just completed the 2010 officers and board elections and have a very strong and capable group with new ideas and insight to make our Chapter a better Chapter.

We have finished the year strong with a great set of speakers over the last several months ending with Cyber Crime and Security. We have one more gathering of the members, the Annual Holiday Gala that I hope you are planning to attend on Dec 12th. There we will be presenting a check for the funds we have raised over the past year to the Buckner’s Children’s Home. This is something we have been doing for several years to give back to the community. I hope you, your family, and friends will be able to attend this event.

Over the next several weeks the Offices and Board will be meeting to plan for 2010 and I welcome your ideas, suggestion, and feedback on what we can do better. For example, do you want more networking meeting verses having a speaker? Are there topics you want to have speakers cover? Please feel free to send me your feedback. We want this Chapter to reflect the wants and needs of the membership so feedback is invaluable.

Most of all I want to wish you and your loved ones very happy and safe holidays, and nothing but the best for the New Year!
